Sustainability – Our Commitment
For us, sustainability is not a campaign – it's the way we work.
We believe that good products don't have to come at the expense of the environment. That's why we at diiszwii consider every step: from ingredients to packaging, from production to collaboration with our partners.
🌿 Natural ingredients – not an unnecessary gram
Our Barohni products contain exclusively ingredients you know and can pronounce. No refined sugar, no preservatives, no artificial flavors. What's on the ingredient list is truly in there – and nothing more.
📦 Sustainable packaging – thoughtfully designed from start to finish
We make every packaging decision consciously. We are proud of what we have achieved so far:
- Jars with Cradle-to-Cradle banderole from Vögeli AG: Our products in jars feature a banderole based on the Cradle-to-Cradle principle – a certification standard that ensures materials are kept in biological or technical cycles. The banderoles come from Vögeli AG, one of the leading Swiss companies for sustainable printed products.
- Praline boxes – plastic-free, handcrafted by women in Turkey: Our praline boxes are completely plastic-free and are handcrafted by women in Turkey. Behind every box is genuine craftsmanship – and a fair production process that is important to us.
- ZH-Nickers packaging – fully compostable: The packaging of our ZH-Nickers bar can be placed directly in the compost after enjoyment. No special sorting, no plastic waste, no bad conscience.
Our goal: Every packaging should either be reusable, compostable, or fully recyclable. We are on our way – and every step counts.
🤝 Zurich Food Collective – achieving more together
Soon, diiszwii will move to Dübendorf – and become part of the Zurich Food Collective. In this community, local food producers share resources: production spaces, infrastructure, knowledge, and networks.
What this means: less idle time, less waste, more efficiency – and a stronger ecosystem for sustainable food production in the Zurich region. For us, this is the next logical step: growing without sacrificing the values that are important to us.

Every praline, every bar, and every filled date is personally handcrafted by us. Short production routes mean less transport, more quality control – and a product that truly comes from Switzerland.
What we still want to improve
We are honest: sustainability is a process, not a finish line. We are continuously working to further optimize our packaging and find new ways to reduce our ecological footprint.
